1. Estimates are not contracts
Quotes and estimates we provide — whether through this website, by phone, text, or in person — are non-binding until both parties sign a written service agreement. Estimates may be revised on site if the scope, access, volume, or contents differ from what was described.
2. Our services
We provide residential and commercial junk removal, clean-outs, and debris hauling in Maryland. We reserve the right to refuse service for any items that are hazardous, illegal, unsafe to handle, or outside the scope agreed in writing. Hazardous materials we generally do not haul include: paints, solvents, asbestos, ammunition, biohazards, and certain electronics — ask us if you're unsure.
3. Your responsibilities
- You confirm you own the items being removed, or have authority from the owner.
- You will ensure safe access to the property and the items.
- You agree to remove personal valuables before we arrive — we are not responsible for items unintentionally hauled away.
4. Photos you upload
By uploading photos through our estimate form, you confirm you own them or have permission to share them, and you grant Hauling Hawk a limited license to use them to prepare your estimate and coordinate the job. We will not publish your photos publicly without separate written permission.
5. Site provided "as is"
The website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Maryland law, Hauling Hawk's total liability arising out of your use of this website is limited to one hundred US dollars (USD $100). For booked and completed jobs, liability is limited to the amount you paid for that specific job. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hauling Hawk, its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the website.
8. Third-party links
Our site may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of those sites.
9. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Prince George's County, Maryland.
